Mississippi Science Olympiad (MSO) State Competition: March 27, 2026.
Mississippi schools are allowed to register and send as many teams as they wish to a regional tournament. However, only one team per school can advance to the state tournament. This can be an exact duplicate of a regional team, or a mix/match of the best competitors from the school's regional teams.
**UPDATE for 2025-26: There will be no regional tournament this year. Schools will be limited to bringing no more than 2 teams.
Registration is due by December 15, 2025. Registering between December 16-31 will incur a $10 fee for late registration.
The registration fee is $135 per team.
Schools new to MSO will pay only $80 per team.
The 3rd and 4th teams from one school will pay $90 per team.
