TEAM REGISTRATION

Mississippi Science Olympiad (MSO) State Competition: April 4, 2025.

Mississippi schools are allowed to register and send as many teams as they wish to a regional tournament. However, only one team per school can advance to the state tournament. This can be an exact duplicate of a regional team, or a mix/match of the best competitors from the school's regional teams.

Registration is due by December 15, 2024. Registering between December 16-31 will incur a $10 fee for late registration.

The registration fee is $135 per team.

Schools new to MSO will pay only $80 per team.

The 3rd and 4th teams from one school will pay $90 per team.

No registration forms will be accepted after Dec. 31, 2024.

On-time payment or indication of P.O. must be received by Dec. 15.

Each Team Will Receive a Coaches Manual and Set of Rules

Each School is Eligible to Participate and Advance in State and National Science Olympiad Tournaments
State Receives FREE of Charge First, Second, and Third Place Set of Medals and Trophies
Students are Eligible to Receive Scholarships (Over $2,500,000 Awarded to National Winners)
Communication and Rules Clarifications with the National Executive Board and Event Supervisors
Science Olympiad Web Page Containing Important News and Updates Available to Each Team
State Director’s Fees for Room and Board Paid for at Annual State Director’s Meeting

Note: No Part of the Membership Fee Has Been Used to Pay For Any National Tournament or Administrative Expenses.
